NCS was not built overnight. It was forged over nearly two decades of real operational experience, a relentless commitment to data security, and a founding belief that technology should serve people — not the other way around.
It Started with a Simple Question
In 2007, we entered the point-of-sale market, building and operating a platform across the Nordic countries. The question that drove everything was deceptively simple: how do you make a customer feel genuinely at home in a business?
Not just served. Not just processed. At home. That meant giving businesses the tools to know their customers, understand their preferences, reward their loyalty — and doing it all with absolute respect for their data. We have handled sensitive commercial data since before data privacy was a regulatory conversation. It was always a moral one for us.
In 2017, Easy Drift AS was incorporated in Norway as our parent company, formalizing a decade of growth and setting the stage for the next chapter. The founding team — AI engineers who had spent years implementing the latest available intelligence technologies into real products — began asking a bigger question: what becomes possible when you combine all of this experience with modern artificial intelligence?
NCS is the answer. A technology platform built to share everything we have learned — every hard-won insight about data, infrastructure, security and the human side of business — with any organization ready to take the next step.
Nearly Two Decades in the Making
We enter the point-of-sale market — launching a platform with a clear purpose: make the relationship between businesses and their customers as seamless and human as possible. From day one, data security and responsible data handling are central to how we build.
Easy Drift AS is founded in Norway as our parent company. A decade of operational knowledge, customer data insights and infrastructure experience becomes the foundation for what comes next.
Dedicated AI R&D begins. The founding team — engineers with deep expertise in artificial intelligence — starts integrating the latest AI technologies into the product stack, exploring what becomes possible when intelligence meets trusted infrastructure.
Internal AI systems mature. The team realizes the technology built over years of development has value far beyond its original scope. A decision is made: bring this stack to the world.
NCS (Neural Compute Systems) is created. Three product families launch — IPS, SynAIptix and Orbis AI — each built on the same secure, battle-tested infrastructure developed since 2007.
NCS expands internationally, bringing enterprise-grade AI and AR technology to businesses of all sizes across Europe and beyond. The mission: make cutting-edge technology accessible to every business, not just the largest.
